The K9 Storm team flew to Orillia, Ontario, Canada to take part in the 2016 Canadian Police Canine Association (CPCA) trials from April 24-29. The CPCA trials bring together some of the most talented canine trainers and handlers from across the globe in an effort to share and improve their knowledge and tactics.

This year, K9 Storm hosted an electronics demonstration on how to effectively use the K9 Storm Intruder Camera System. Canine handlers attending the conference with their dogs had the opportunity to run the Intruder through it's paces and see the benefit of having the Intruder for real life SWAT scenarios.

K9 Storm was also the sponsor of the Iron Dog competition. The Iron Dog pits the toughest handlers and their dogs in a gut-busting 5K run with obstacles focused on canine handler expertise. Tracking, climbing, water crossings; if you can think of it, it was most likely in the Iron Dog!

Congrats to all the handlers who competed, but more specifically, to the handlers who raced and WON in their K9 Storm Gear! Featured above is #34, the fastest competitor who finished the Iron Dog in just over 24 minutes wearing his K9 Storm Aerial Insertion Vest and we wouldn't want it any other way!
